The friend who was with us had their room done every day which on same floor just 10 rooms away so very unsure as to why this happened as was the one person, we spoke to on Tuesday Sept20 2022 Plus asked for 1 extra pillow was told only could have 4 never heard of that so friends gave one of theirs HATE those mini pillows. Wednesday same old story out for breakfast little road trip return around 4 nothing again cleaned or replace so call for replacement which we got not sure how long it took for that as was very upset. Surprise once again nothing done or replaced called once again Housekeeping shows up to do room in 30minutes. Tuesday left room again around 8AM returned around 3 or 4. Monday left room and not back in it till or 4 pm room did not clean it nothing replaced called for towels and informed them about it towels brought up in about 15 minutes. I will now start First and foremost HOUSEKEEPING asked at initial check in about it was informed that we could have it daily if want we said yes well that never happened got to room it was clean but had no shampoo etc called delivered. First let me start by saying room was complimentary. Tips: 1.We have stayed at the RIO many many times and never have we had a more terrible experience. Room fridge was so noisy had to unplug to get some sleep. The hotel bar and grille - food was disappointing although this may have been related to busy NYE service. Bus stop back to the strip seems to be located next to tunnel where homeless people enter and leave (not that anyone caused any issue with us) 2.

Short bus ride from strip - 6 minutes (from Caesars) 3. Super views of strip, mountains and zip line outside hotel 2.

Ended up watching the fireworks from roof of the parking garage which offers great view of the whole strip. Nice vanity area with light up mirror and stool separate from bathroom area. Very spacious room with sofa, glass coffee table, desk and chair with large tv and fridge. The hotel offers great ceiling to floor windows with some fantastic views of the strip. Booked a premium suite room with strip view in Rio All-Suites to view new years eve celebrations.
